What To Expect
Prior to your first session I will go through the medical questionnaire over the telephone and answer any questions. This will enable me to create a treatment plan which we can amend as we progress through the treatments.
A reflexology session will last around an hour. We can discuss any changes and what you wish to gain from the treatment. You will then remove your socks and shoes and lay back on a reclining chair. Your feet will be cleansed and the treatment will begin.
Reflexology should not be painful but some areas may feel more tender when pressure is applied. This usually corresponds with an area that has a build up of congestion and with gentle pressure should begin to ease. Most people have a feeling of relaxation, a release of tension and an improved sense of well-being after a treatment.
Afterwards you will be encouraged to spend a few minutes relaxing. To gain maximum benefit from the reflexology treatment, it is advised that you drink plenty of water and avoid alcohol and caffeine in the hours immediately after your treatment.
I offer mobile treatments to female clients only. Please add about 20-25 mins for the setting up and setting down of equipment.
Generally, we would suggest that you have a monthly maintenance session but sometimes it is better to have a few intensive treatments if you have a condition that needs this. Recommendations will be given after the first treatment. There are no side effects from Reflexology.

Reflexology treatments make a wonderful and unique gift. Vouchers are available in any denomination. They can be used as full or part payment towards a treatment or for multiple sessions and are valid for 9 months from date of purchase. All vouchers purchased will be posted to you free of charge. If you require an electronic voucher, perhaps as a last minute gift, please let me know and I will arrange to email a voucher to you.
